London has been the victim of horrendous knife crime over the past 18 months, and it seems like it’s not going to stop anytime soon.
Police have launched yet another investigation after 14-yr-old boy was knifed in broad daylight in Gloucester Road Croydon on Wednesday evening.
It’s been revealed today that police are looking for witnesses after the boy was stabbed in his back and in his head and needed immediate first aid to keep him alive on the street while an ambulance was called for which rushed to the hospital.
It’s understood that thankfully the boy is now recovering from his injuries but as a result, a large police presence has been deployed to the area with the number of on uniformed patrols now walking the streets in an effort to try and find gangs who are attacking young men randomly.
Police are trying to gather information that can prevent such crimes in the future after a number of young men have been killed by knife crime in London over the past 18 months.
