It may be hard to believe, since it’s almost May, but it’s actually snowing across some areas of the country.
There was a severe snowstorm in Co. Mayo earlier, and temperatures are rather unseasonably low for this time of year pretty much everywhere.
The cold weather is due to last for another couple of days yet, but temperatures will become milder towards Saturday evening.
