Bad news on the jobs front today, as Intel has announced that its Irish operations will be ‘impacted’ by the company’s worldwide restructuring plans.
It is not yet known which locations, or how many jobs will be lost here. It is understood that staff will be briefed on the matter on May 3 and 4, and that cuts will be both voluntary and involuntary.
The company plans to cut around 12,000 jobs worldwide.
