In what can only described as a tremendously genuine interview, Louth lady Ruth Fitzmorris spoke about her husband’s Simon battle with motor neuron Disease.
Ruth spoke about how her loving family have gone through seriously tough times but their loyalty is without question to their beloved dad and husband, Ruth.
Simon can communicate via a computer generated voice. He gave the following message for the viewers tonight.
“Ruth and my 5 children are my sun, moon and star. They are my life.
They keep me alive. Life is a privilege, not a right. That’s hope.”
What an incredible family and wonderful depiction of true love and the meaning of life and how valued and precious it is.
