The Luas operator, Transdev, has gone ahead with the implementation of the 10% pay cut for drivers announced earlier in the week.
Such pay cut has been implemented due to the long-running pay dispute between the company and the trams’ drivers.
Luas drivers staged their ninth day of strike action since February, with more days planned.
SIPTU representatives have said that if Transdev does not return to the negotiations table, drivers will increase the frequency and pattern of their strike action.
