Ongoing talks at the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) may yield some sort of agreement today, as Transdev have made a pay increase offer of 3.5pc a year, up from an initial offer of 1pc to 3pc.
It is understood that drivers have reduced their original claims of up 53pc increases to just 5pc or 6pc.
While no deal has yet been confirmed, the planned St. Patrick’s Day strike may be cancelled at the 11th hour if an agreement is reached over the next few hours.
