Norweigan Air have announced that they’ll start flying one their Boeing 737 airplanes to Boston directly from Cork airport next year.
The new route is said to get underway in the first quarter of the year.
The Scandinavian airliner has said that “if the route is successful, we’ll launch a new route in 2017 – a direct route from Cork to New York City!”
The Cork Chamber of Commerce has welcomed the new route.
