Seems like the much vaunted Indian Summer that has threatened to bless our shores for the last few weeks is well and truly on its way.
Met Eireann have forecast a long lasting spell of rather warm and settled weather, which may go on for seven days or more.
A high pressure system is slowly moving into place over Ireland, keeping the weather calm and dry for most of next week. Temperatures are set to reach 17-18C most days.
The impending weekend is expected to be dry but cloudy, with highs of 17C.
But from Monday on, the weather is expected to turn rather nice, with long, dry sunny spells, with temperatures hovering around high teens.
