
There’s major concern tonight for seven coronavirus patients in the Republic of Ireland who’ve been placed in intensive care units.
It’s understood that 7 out of the 577 coronavirus cases that are declared in the Republic of Ireland have been placed in Intensive Care Units.
At this evening’s briefing to the press, Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has announced that there a number of people in intensive care units after contracting coronavirus.
It’s understood that testing for covid-19 is going to increase in the coming days on island of Ireland with medical professionals expecting a dramatic increase of cases as a result.
