Today is set to see another major anti-lockdown protest take place, this time in the “people’s Republic” of Cork City.

Cork’s Anti-Lockdown protest this afternoon is organised by a “dangerous group” and “must be stopped” says Fine Gael Dublin Rathdown TD.

In the aftermath of the protest in Dublin this weekend, concerns have been raised by a Government politician about a planned Anti-Lockdown protest in cork City this Saturday.

Neale Richmond a Fine Gael TD for Dublin Rathdown has called for a planned Anti-Lockdown protest taking place in Cork City this Saturday to be “stopped” reports, breakingnews.ie

Speaking about this weekend’s protest in Dublin, Neale Richmond said: “Dangerous conspiracy theorists preyed on the genuine frustrations of many to recklessly bring hundreds of people out in protest against necessary public health measures aimed to fuel the spread of a killer virus”.

Mr Richmond continued “It is clear that subversive elements used the opportunity presented by this protest to spread their far- right propaganda, dangerous anti science rhetoric and ultimately attack our Gardaí”.
