Another investigation has been launched after two elderly nursing home residents died just days after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.
The Norwegian Medicines Agency Medical Director Steiner Madsen said in a statement:
“We have to assess whether the vaccine is the cause of death, or if it is a coincidence that it happened soon after vaccination,”
This follow an incident in which a Portuguese nurse aged 41 and described as being in perfect health died suddenly just two days after she received the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.
Health authorities in that country are likewise conducting their own investigations to determine if her death was vaccine related.
