Police are looking for a missing 15-yr-old girl who is believed to have disappeared after boarding a train in Birmingham. Megan Simpson has not been seen since Thursday evening when she boarded a train from Lichfield, Staffordshire, where she lives, to Bloxwich in Walsall.

According to the West Midlands Police, she got off the train in the Sutton Coldfield or Wylde Green areas of Birmingham and has not been seen since. The teenager is described as white, 5 feet 1 inches tall, with very long black hair, and was last seen wearing a shiny black quilted jacket, black ripped jeans, and black athletic shoes.

Police say that this is a genuinely serious missing person’s case and not to be mistaken for someone going off for a couple of days by themselves.

Posting an appeal on Facebook, the force wrote: ‘MISSING. Have you seen Megan Simpson? The 15-year-old has been missing since Thursday evening and is thought to have travelled to the Sutton Coldfield or Erdington areas. ‘Megan, who is from Lichfield, got on a train heading towards Bloxwich and is believed to have got off at Wylde Green station.

‘She is white, 5ft 1in tall, with very long black hair and was last seen wearing a black shiny puffer jacket, black ripped jeans and black trainers. ‘If you see her please contact the Locate team on 101.’
