The World Health Organization has come under immense fire on social media after they warned that vaccines are not a magic bullet to solve the coronavirus crisis, as Russia began vaccinating its high-risk workers today and other countries prepare for similar programmes.
The WHO has warned against the erroneous assumption that almost a year after the start of the pandemic, which has killed 1.5 million people worldwide, the Covid-19 crisis has ended with the emergence of the vaccine.
However, many people still say that they won’t get the vaccine despite efforts from the likes of Ryan Tubridy saying that he’ll take the vaccine live on television.
