Malaysian police and other agencies have conceded that they’re still at a loss as to what may have happened to 15-year-old Nora Quoirin.

Nora, who has severe learning difficulties, vanished seven days ago from the resort she was staying in with her family. An open window and no signs of forced entry or a struggle in her room initially led authorities to believe that the teenager had left of her own accord. Her family disputes this, however, stating that Nora would never leave her family voluntarily.

All efforts to find Nora have so far been unsuccessful.

The search continues.
