Irish Freedom Party President, Hermann Kelly has spoken to residents and staff at the Direct Provision Centre in the Triple House Hotel in Termonfeckin, Co. Louth.
One man living at the new plantation, who travelled to Ireland from Afghanistan with a group of young men, was demanding that the government provide them with larger bedrooms, halal food and Muslim chefs to prepare said food.
Mr Kelly reported that he was informed that 42 asylum seekers had arrived at the hotel in late December with the 12 from Georgia, a country whose own ambassador in Ireland has said their citizens have no right to claim asylum and several other from Afghanistan, who traversed numerous safe countries to claim asylum in Ireland.
The Irish Freedom Party will hold a rally regarding Ireland’s immigration in Drogheda, Co. Louth on Saturday 7th January 2023 at 1 pm outside St. Peter’s Church, West Street.
