A 21-year-old man has been killed in a road crash in Co Antrim. The accident occurred in the outskirts of Ballymena on the Moorfields Road.
The accident involving a car and a coach happened at about 1pm today. Inspector David McCausland said: “The incident occurred at Moorfields Road at about 1pm and involved a car and a coach.”
Police in Ballymena have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the accident to come forward. They also urge anyone who was in the area at the time to get in contact.
The name of the man who lost his life has yet to be released. The road remains closed.
Four men were also injured in a seperate incident near Mayobridge in Co Down on Sunday afternoon after a car and three motorcycles collided shortly before 2pm. Drivers are asked to avoid the area as the road remains closed.
