
After being hit by a truck in Dublin city this afternoon, a man in his 50s passed away, reports RTE.
Shortly after 3 p.m., the incident happened near the intersection of Church Street and Arran Quay.
Traffic is being diverted and the road is closed while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators do a technical analysis of the incident, reports RTE.
According to the GardaÃ, a post-mortem examination will be scheduled when the local coroner has been informed.
Bridewell Garda Station’s Gardaà are requesting witnesses and asking anybody with information to call 01 666 8200, reports RTE.
