Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for Donegal, predicting heavy and continuous rain, reports RTE.
From 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm today, the warning will be in effect.
Local floods might occur, according to the forecaster, reports RTE.
Tomorrow, rain is expected to sweep over Ireland. According to Met Éireann, it will be heavy and persistent in the northwest and west, causing small flooding in certain areas.
It is predicted that the highest afternoon temperatures would range from 8 to 13 degrees Celsius, reports RTE.
