Gardaí in Dundalk, Co Louth have launched an investigation after a man was tied up during an aggravated burglary in Tuesday evening.
It is understood the man aged in his 20s, was attacked by two men after they entered a house in the Ard Easmuinn at approximately 7:30pm on Tuesday evening.
Gardaí say the men fled the scene with a quantity of jewelry shortly after the incident.
The latest robbery is the third within the town over the past week.
