Gardaí in Limerick have arrested a Pakistani national aged in his 30s following the seizure of 15,000 illegal cigarettes.
The man’s arrest comes after Gardai searched two premises in the city on Wednesday.
It is understood 18kgs of chewing tobacco was also discovered during the search.
Gardaí say a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
