Gardaà in Dublin have confirmed that a man aged in his 30s is currently in critical condition in hospital following an accident at Dublin Port on Monday.
According to The Irish Sun newspaper, the man aged in his 30s was rushed to hospital following the incident which occurred at approximately 10am on Monday morning.
It is understood that the man was found trapped between two pieces of equipment.
Gardaà say the man was taken to the Mater Hospital where he remains in serious condition.
They added investigations are currently ongoing.
