A man aged in his 30s is recovering in hospital this morning following two shooting incidents in Ballymun on Wednesday.
It is understood the man sustained an injury to his leg after he was shot at in Shangan Green at approximately 4:10pm yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí say although the man was taken to the Mater Hospital his injuries are believed to be non life-threatening.
Meanwhile Gardaí were alerted to second shooting incident which occurred in the Belclare View area, at approximately 5pm yesterday evening.
Although thankfully no was injured in the incident, Gardai say extensive damage was caused to a house in the area.
They also say they are currently searching for two men who fled the scene on a motorcycle.
