Gardaí in Co Kildare have confirmed that a man aged in his 40s has died following a road traffic incident this morning.
It is understood the man was killed following a two vehicle collision on the Easton Road, Leixlip at around 9.50am.
Gardaí say another man who was the driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
