Gardaí in Co Donegal have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 40s has died following a quad bike accident over the weekend.
The news of the man’s death comes after he was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital following the incident which occurred at approximately 7pm Sunday evening.
Gardaí say the man was transferred to Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital, but sadly died due to the extent of his head injuries.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
