Man aged in his 40s has sadly died following a road traffic incident in Co Kilkenny.
It is understood the man passed away after the van he was travelling in collided struck a tree on the R705 near Goresbridge.
Gardaí say the man who was the sole occupant of the vehicle was taken St Luke’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
