Police in the UK have arrested a 24-year-old man after a young girl was raped in a field in Greater Manchester.
According to Sky News, the man’s arrest comes after the child whose age has not been revealed was attacked Balmoral Drive in Heywood, on Monday evening at approximately 7:45pm.
It is understood the man was taken into custody and is currently being questioned by police.
Meanwhile police have confirmed that support services are being offered to the girl and her family.
