Nightlife in Spain can once again resume from next week onwards, but there will be one major difference when the country’s popular nightclubs reopen.

In a move to get the country back to normal following covid-19 restrictions, the Spanish Government has confirmed that nightclubs can reopen from next week.

However the traditional activity of dancing will be banned as social distancing measures will remain in place.

Under the new proposals dance floors or areas reserved for dancing will have to have tables or seating put in place.

Although nightclubs have been given the go ahead to reopen their doors owners must operate at two thirds capacity, but they can utilise further space such as terraces or balconys.

The move comes as the country is continuing to ease their way out of lockdown following the deadly outbreak which began in March.
