Gardai have arrested a man after €120,000 worth of cocaine was seized over the weekend.
It is understood that the man was arrested after Gardai discovered the drugs during a routine stop and search operation in the Cappakeel area of Portlaoise.
Gardai say the man aged in his 40s was taken to Portlaoise Garda Station for questioning.
