
Gardaí in Cork have confirmed that a man has been arrested following the discovery of €320,000 worth of illegal drugs in the city.
The arrest comes after the drugs were found at a property on St Patrick’s Street on Tuesday evening.
Gardaí say two and a half kilos of heroin worth an estimated €350,000 and an estimated €2,000 worth of cocaine was found at the scene.
They added that the man is currently being detained at Bridewell Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
