Gardai in Co Donegal have arrested a man following a robbery at a fuel station.
It is understood that the arrest comes after a man armed with a gun robbed a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes from a fuel station in Glencar.
Gardai say the man aged in his 20s threatened staff at the station at approximately 9:40am on Sunday morning.
However despite fleeing the scene he was later stopped in Donegal Town and was subsequently arrested.
