Gardaí in Co Wicklow have confirmed that a man aged in his 40s has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident which resulted in the death of another man in Arklow, on Monday.
The arrest comes after a man aged in his 30s was tragically killed following a stabbing incident at a house in Meadowvale, at approximately 12.30am Monday morning.
Gardaí investigating the incident say the victim sadly passed away at St Vincent’s Hospital shortly after the incident.
They added that a man aged in his 40s was arrested later on Monday and he is currently being detained at Arklow Garda Station, under the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
