Gardai in Dublin have arrested a man aged in his 40s following the seizure of a firearm on Thursday.
It is understood the man’s arrest comes after Gardai seized a firearm at a house in Rossfield Crescent, Tallaght.
Gardai say the man was taken to Tallaght Garda Station for questioning.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
