A man aged in his 30s who was arrested after a number of shots were fired at a car in Dublin on Monday is due to appear in court later today.
The appearence comes after the man was arrested by Gardai on Monday after a number of shots were fired at a car on the Whitechapel Road, Clonsilla, Dublin 15.
Gardaí say the man who was detained at Blanchardstown Garda under Section 30, Offences Against the State Act, 1939, is expected to appear before Blanchardstown District Court later today.
