A man has been arrested in connection with an incident in the North where a pensioner was run over and killed in Derry.
The man in his seventies was hit by a car just after 7pm last night, while walking along the Culmore Road.
A 43-year-old man was arrested and questioned on suspicion of causing the pensioner’s death by careless driving.
He has been released on bail.
