A Dublin bus driver who pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, which he had on multiple electronic devices, and was handed just a suspended sentence just months ago has been allowed to return to his job.
Dublin Bus reviewed his application to return to work for them and after a “disciplinary process” the convicted child pornography possessor was returned to work by Dublin Bus driving a busy route which serves numerous schools.
The presiding judge in the case did not even place the man on the sex offenders register.
Aside from the perplexingly lenient sentence, which Irish people have become accustomed to paedophiles receiving from our court system from some unknown reason, people are disgusted that man is again working a position where he will encounter children on a daily basis.
Others have expressed their dismay online that the man, who is a non-national is not deported for his crimes.
