A pedestrian in his mid 20s, was badly hurt after being hit by a car around 1am in the morning.
The road has been closed this morning for gardai to investigate the scene
The man was walking on the road when he was hit by a car. He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin after the accident took place on Killarney Road, Co Wicklow.
It is understood that the man is in critical condition and remains in Beaumont for treatment.
