A man in Thailand has sadly been killed after he was electrocuted when he was was using his earphones and charging his phone at the same.
According to reports in Thailand, the man who has been named as Kritsada Supol, a 24-year-old factory worker from Chonburi, was found dead by his landlord at his apartment on Sunday.
It is understood that Mr Supol was found lying in his bed with his earphones in his ears, whilst his Samsung phone was resting over his mouth.
Police investigating the incident say they believe a short circuit in the electrical system may have caused his death as he was found with burn marks on his ears.
Authorities also say they believe that a cheap charger may have been the cause of Mr Supol’s death.
Although it is not yet known what exactly Mr Supol was doing at the time when he was electrocuted, investigators say he was either listening to music or he was talking on the phone to someone.
