
A man is expected to appear in court later this morning charged in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred at a pharmacy in Drogheda Co Louth yesterday morning.
The man who has not been named will appear in court charged with a number offences in relation to the incident which happened at the Cottage Pharmacy chemist on Scarlet Street shortly before 8.30am. The victim a man believed to be in his 30s, received a stab wound and was quickly taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with serious injuries.
The accused is due to appear before Dundalk District Court this morning, charged in connection with the ongoing investigation.
