A man believed to be in his late 50s has been found dead at his home in Sligo earlier today.
It is understood that the victim, named locally as Martin, or Matt, Kivlehan, died from multiple stab wounds.
The area has been sealed off to enable a technical examination. The Office of the State Pathologist has been informed.
