
After a vehicle was taken at knifepoint in Dublin early on Friday morning, GardaĆ have made an arrest, reports Breaking News.
Around 2.45 in the morning, the event happened on Belgard Road.
In the Clondalkin neighbourhood, a man was approached by another man with a knife while he was in his car parked at traffic signals, reports Breaking News.
This man got inside the car and made the driver go somewhere else.
After fleeing the vehicle, the driver informed the gardaĆ of the occurrence.
Nearby, the suspect, a man in his 30s, was taken into custody after the GardaĆ found the car empty, reports Breaking News.
In accordance with Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act of 1984, the individual is being held at a Garda station in west Dublin.
A call for witnesses has been made, especially for anyone who was driving between two and three in the morning on Belgard Road or in the Clondalkin neighbourhood, reports Breaking News.
