Gardai have arrested a man after an armed robbery in Kildalkey, in Co Meath, yesterday evening.
Two men entered a shop in the area, armed with a hand gun and an iron bar. They threatened staff and made good their escape with a sum of cash.
Nobody was physically injured during the incident, and it is understood the men were driven from the scene in a getaway car.
Gardai arrested a 24-year-old man in Navan last night in connection with the robbery. A car has also been seized.
