A man in his 20s has been charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident in Letterkenny.
The victim, a male in his 30s identified as Jason Haughey, was found lying on the side of the road in the Windyhall area on the outskirts of Letterkenny around 4am on Monday. He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardai arrested a man in his 20s a short time later.
