A man in his 40s passed away in hospital after a fall in the Comeragh Mountains in Co. Waterford on Sunday.
The man was walking near the Mahon Falls area when he fell, sustaining serious head injuries. He was airlifted to hospital, where he died shortly afterwards.
Gardai are treating the event as a tragic accident.
