A man in his 50s was rushed to hospital after sustaining serious stab wounds during an assault, which happened in Dingle, Co. Kerry, on Friday night last.
It is understood that the man’s injuries, while serious, were not life-threatening.
Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
