When a woman starting shouting on a plane and shouting “Allahu Akbar” one man knew exactly what to do and took action when he felt that the crew weren’t doing enough to stop her.

According to the Irish Mirror, 35-year-old Philip O’Brien was travelling with his family from Cyprus to Manchester when the woman, believed to be in her 30s, allegedly stripped down to her underwear and tried to enter the cockpit while shouting “Allahu Akbar”.  It is reported that she said there “would be an explosion” and asked some children on the plane if they were “ready to die”.

When O’Brien saw what was happening, he wasn’t happy the crew hadn’t taken control of the situation.  He allegedly grabbed the woman and held her down on the ground to stop her.

The plane made an emergency landing in Paris but it is not clear what happened to the woman after she was taken off the plane.
