Gardaí investigating the alleged assault of a taxi driver in Dublin on Easter Sunday, have confirmed that a person has come forward and contacted them.
According to RTÉ News, the man presented himself at a Garda Station on Sunday.
It is understood the investigation comes after footage of the alleged incident which occurred on the Malahide Road, Donnycarney, was shared on social media.
Gardaí say they are currently investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and contact them at contact Clontarf Garda Station on 01-6664800 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
