Police in France have confirmed that a man riding an e-scooter has died after he collided with a motorcycle on a busy motorway.
According to reports in France, the 30-year-old man died after he was involved in a collision on the A38 outer ring road on Saturday morning.
It is believed the man collided with the motorcyclist whilst traveling in the fast lane on the road which is located approximately two and a half miles away from Versailles.
Police investigating the incident say the motorcyclist was hospitalised with multiple injuries following the collision.
They added it is not yet known why the man decided to take his e-scooter on the motorway as such vehicles are banned.
