Gardai in Co Clare have sadly confirmed that a man has died following a road traffic incident this afternoon.
It is understood the man aged in his 40s was killed following a single vehicle collision on the N18 in Bunratty, at approximately 2:10pm.
Gardai say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
