Gardai are investigating an incident that occurred at a flat on main St in the village of St. Johnston, Co. Donegal, at approximately 5.15pm on Saturday afternoon.
The male occupant of the flat received some injuries when a number of masked men entered his flat armed with bats and a pellet gun.
The raiders left empty-handed, and the man was taken to Letterkenny Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
