The man suspected of carrying out the multiple stabbings in Dublin is reportedly out of intensive care, and likely to be questioned by Gardai in the near future.
It has now been confirmed that the suspect is a 49-year-old man of Algerian origin.
A 5-year-old female remains in hospital following the attack in Dublin almost two weeks ago.
